WHY EPAL

WHY EPAL
EPAL is environmentalist. With its multi-use feature, it ensures less tree cutting. Thus, it contributes to the protection of nature.
Due to the heat treatment of EPAL pallets in ISPM 15 standards, it is the most preferred type of wooden pallet in the world with its prevention of bacteria and insect formation, variety of sizes, standard material properties, durability and environmentalist structure.

MULTI USE

It has a service life of 20 times longer than pallets of smaller dimensions.
In addition, it can be repaired by companies licensed by EPAL, and its useful life can be increased up to 7-8 years.

COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

EPAL pallets, which have higher strength compared to other wooden pallets, prevent breakage during transportation and shelf systems and provide advantages to users in terms of occupational health and safety.

INTERNATIONAL POOL SYSTEM

It has the world's largest pool system.
In this way, you can exchange the EPAL pallets you receive with your international partners without any problems, minimizing your transportation costs.

What is IPPC?

IPPC is short for International Plant Protection Convention. They developed a standard for wood packaging in international business, called ISPM-15.
What treatment methods will be acceptable by ISPM-15?

The IPPC standard(ISPM-15) allows for two treatment methods – heat treatment and fumigation with methyl bromide. Heat treatment will likely become the most popular method due to environmental concerns caused by methyl bromide used to fumigate packaging.
The standard calls for heat-treated material to be heated to 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. This can be achieved by using a dry kiln or any other approved heat treatment chamber/device.
